This agreement describes the terms on which SpaceCivilizations.com
offers you access to an account to play the SpaceCivilizations online strategy game.
Use of this website and the services provided via it are conditional upon you accepting the following Terms and Conditions.
Unless otherwise specified, your acceptance shall be indicated by your use of this website.
If you do not accept these Terms and Conditions, you must not use this website.

To play SpaceCivilizations or use the features of this website, we require you to create an account, and choose a username and password.
All valid account holders are hereby licensed to play SpaceCivilizations and to download and use our client software and
connect to our servers for the sole purpose of playing SpaceCivilizations, subject to their compliance with these terms and conditions.
You must not choose a Username that infringes the rights of any third party, impersonates SpaceCivilizations.com staff or other users,
or which is deliberately confusing or which is offensive, racist, obscene or otherwise unlawful.
We reserve the right to change any Username for any reason.
You agree to keep your Password safe at all times and not to disclose it to any other person.
You must ensure that your computer is kept free of viruses and Trojans to ensure the safety of your password.
Real SpaceCivilizations.com staff will never ask you for your current password.
You may not transfer or lend your account to anyone else, or permit anyone else to use your account,
and you may not accept an account which anybody else offers you. You are only allowed to
create 1 Account, and you are liable for all activities conducted through the Account.
We reserve the right to delete your account, block your access to our website and services,
and/or take further legal action if you violate any of these terms and conditions.
We may delete or modify any account at any time for any reason.

You must not exploit any cheats or errors which you find in SpaceCivilizations.
Any cheats or errors which you discover must be reported immediately to us.
You must not attempt to use other programs in conjunction with SpaceCivilizations to give yourself an unfair advantage.
You may not use any bots or macros to control the game for you. You agree not to distribute such programs to other SpaceCivilizations players.
You must not reverse-engineer, decompile or modify the SpaceCivilizations client in any way.
You must not use a modified/customised version of the SpaceCivilizations client.
You must not create or provide any other means by which SpaceCivilizations may be played by others
(including, without limitation, replacement or modified client/server software, server emulators).
You must not misuse any of our customer service facilities. You must not deliberately enter false information into any of the forms on our website,
or in SpaceCivilizations. You must not encourage, or attempt to trick other players into breaking our rules.

We may accept ideas and game additions that are submitted by users.
You agree that by submitting material for inclusion in SpaceCivilizations you are giving us a non-exclusive, perpetual, worldwide,
royalty-free license to use and/or modify the submitted materials as we see fit.
You agree that you will not withdraw the submission or attempt to make a charge for its use.
Furthermore you warrant that you are the exclusive copyright holder of the submission,
and that the submission in no way violates any other person or entity's rights.

We will make reasonable commercial efforts to ensure that this web site is available 24 hours per day without any interruptions.
However, we reserve the right to make this web site unavailable at any time or to restrict access to parts or all of this website without notice.

The following are basic rules, and people need to use their common sense rather than have us spell out every scenario.
Treat others as you would like to be treated. Respect is the key.
Keep it clean and respectful.
There will be no flaming of any kind, joking around is fine, but being insulting to others just for your own amusement will not be tolerated.
We will not tolerate any kind of harassment.
Debating is fine, insulting is not. Keep debates on topic and no not insult any other user.
Please ensure that all posts are written in English.
This will allow the forum moderators to be able to see all posts and ensure that the forums are moderated correctly.
Do not post the same discussion more than once on a discussion forum or on many forums.
Duplicate discussions can be frustrating for other members, especially for those whose time and energy is limited.
Duplicate discussions will be deleted. Reposting the same message repeatedly can be interpreted as SPAM and could result in a permanent ban.
It is at the discretion of the moderators if a thread or post should be deleted,
so don't make threads asking why such and such a thread was deleted.
If a specific post of yours was edited or removed, it will be because you have broken either one of the main
forum guidelines here or a forum specific rule. We will be notifying you via a private message in this case.
A moderator's decision is FINAL. No questions asked.

The same rules of conduct that apply in the Forum also apply In-Game, in the web-based Chat-Room, and everywhere else on the SpaceCivilizations web-page.
Specifically, keep conversations clean and respectful. Treat other players as you would like to be treated.
Swearing, bad language or getting personal is not tolerated, and may result in a permanent ban from the game.
The same counts for inappropriate naming of planets, solar-systems, ships and fleets, or any other game-object in the SpaceCivilizations client.
If you think you encountered a case of misconduct anywhere in the game, then please contact the Administrators, so that they can take the appropriate steps.

Whilst we reserve the right to monitor and take action upon inappropriate use of this web site
(including the posting of inappropriate or offensive material via the Forum or otherwise),
we cannot guarantee that this web site will not contain any content provided by third parties that is inappropriate,
