Posted at 01.07.2008
Space Civilizations is celebrating it's 100th Beta Galaxy, and we do it in style! Galaxy Beta 100 will be the first ever Team Galaxy! 2 teams battle it out until one is dominating the entire galaxy. This is an entirely new format that has not been tried before (at least not in the SpaceCiv world), so this should turn out to be great fun! More details can be found here.

SpaceCiv manual now a 100% wiki based
Posted at 17.09.2007
The Space Civilizations manual is now entirely moved over to Wiki, and the old manual has been removed. I spent quite some time the last days to unify the layout, and make it easier to navigate. I updated and added bits of information here and there, and would call the manual now 80% complete. I want to thank the people that helped me doing this, and hope and wish for their continued support finishing and keeping the manual up to date. Thanks again guys Smile
Presenting: The Space Civilizations Wiki
Posted at 12.05.2007
We are proud to announce that the game is growing by another essential part: The Space Civilizations Wiki! The Wiki is giving players a chance to contribute even more to the game, and by that actively helping the game creators taking some weight off their shoulders, and further improving the game. If you want to contribute, please contact the game admins via the Support Contact Form and ask for a Wiki Registration.
Server move complete
Posted at 11.02.2007
Just in time before the third Beta Galaxy starts its ticks, we have completed the move to the new server. We now have got a lot more processing power and bandwidth available! This allows us to open another galaxy: Galaxy Beta 8 has just been opened for signup. It will start its ticks Friday, February 23rd at 19:45 CET. Thank you for playing/testing, and enjoy the game!
Moving to new server
Posted at 10.02.2007
We will be moving over to a brand new server Sunday morning. This means that the entire webpage, and the Galaxy Servers will go offline, and ticks will be halted. Expect this to happen between 10:00 CET and 12:00 CET. See you on the other side Wink
Public Beta has opened
Posted at 30.01.2007
A few days later than originally planned we are excited to present the Public Beta Version of Space Civilizations! All planned features are implemented and now need to be thoroughly tested. Please note that in order to sign up to the all new Galaxy Beta 5 you need to play and finish the Tutorial Galaxy. We are welcoming you to the all new version of Space Civilizations, and hope you will enjoy the game Smile
The return of Public Beta (updated)
Posted at 20.01.2007
Here's a quick update: we are currently busy with the final preparations for the next Public Beta phase. Most of the required prerequisites are already complete, so we are confident to have regular galaxies back around the 25th of January. We look forward to welcoming back all players from the first public beta phase and all newly registered players! A Progress Update can be found here.
