Planetary Facilities

When building on a planets surface each succeeding structure will cost more than the previous, as determined by this formula:

Build-Cost = (4 + (3 + Already-Existing-Facility-Count) * Already-Existing-Facility-Count) * Facility-Base-Production-Cost / 4

Example:
Facility-Base-Production-Cost: 50
Already-Existing-Facility-Count: 5
Build-Cost = 550

The exception to this are the special facilities which can only be built once per-planet.

Planetary Defense

Firepower/Shielding is determined by technology level, as listed here.
